There are always going to be peaks and troughs in workload, whether you’re a small agency or a large inhouse design team, life is a juggling act as they say! Hiring an experienced freelance graphic designer during busy periods can help alleviate the pressure, maintain your workflow and quality output for your clients, and all without the hassle, time and expense of recruiting and training a new designer.
Handle busy periods, employee leave, and absence with ease!
Agencies and in-house teams will inevitably encounter staff absence from time to time. Whether it be for maternity/paternity leave, illness or to cover during recruitment periods, a freelance graphic designer can step in to fill the breach!
Hire an experienced Freelance Designer with a breadth of skills
Digital, print based, branding, exhibitions and more. I’ve worked continuously in the design field (for longer than I care to remember!?) and during that time have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in all graphic design disciplines. It’s not just the design work either, I’m proficient in all the usual design and administrative software applications.
Seamlessly fit in to your existing team, schedule and workflow
You already have a design team. You don’t want to rock the boat, that won’t help. I’m experienced at fitting in to existing design teams both from a workflow perspective and team dynamics – I’m not afraid of making a cuppa or two!
Work from your office or mine
Usually, I offer agency and inhouse team, help with full days, working from your office with your equipment. However, if your requirements are more project based or you don’t have spare work stations, I would happily provide remote design services, just get in touch for a chat.
No headaches for HR
I’ll simply invoice for completed design days, or projects, at agreed intervals (on completion, weekly, or monthly). So, if you have no work, and no need for extra help, then there’s simply no invoice! And you don’t have to worry about holidays or sick leave with a freelance designer either.
The vast majority of design agencies call on freelance graphic designers from time to time. However, if you prefer your clients don’t know you hire freelancers, that’s fine. I never discuss clients with anyone else and will only show previous work, created for you or your clients, with prior written permission.
Trust is everything in my field. If you don’t trust me, you won’t hire me, simple. With that in mind, I am happy to sign non-disclosure agreements as required. I will never approach your clients directly, or, take on their work if I have a relationship with you. I just couldn’t live with myself!
I hold all necessary insurance to act as a professional freelance graphic designer including Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
Don’t worry about being able to manage those busy times anymore! Hire a freelance Graphic Designer, for as long or as little as you need, to help out. It’s simpler than you think, easier than you think and can save a lot of time and expense. Get in touch to find out more.
